Modding Windows: HOW TO Print Full Size Cd/Dvd with HP Printers using Nero Cover Designer

Hi, one great limitation I found in original HP software to print Dvd, was that you couldn’t print on all the surface using Full Printable Dvd.

So I tried using Nero Cover Designer. When editing the Disc, I fount the option “paper type” and selected “Hewlett-Packard print on CD/DVD 120 mm” but the result was the same: a big white spot at the center of the Cd/Dvd.

To fix the issue I’ve made a “custom paper type” named “Hp Full size”. Now the results are perfect, with the whole surface of the Dvd full printed.

I use a HP Photosmart C309a series printer, but I think this “paper type” fix the problem for all HP printers.

To apply this paper:

1. Open Nero Cover Designer

2. Open a New Document (it doesn’t matter which one)

3. Go to “File” –> “Paper Type”

4. Find “import”

5. Select the file you just downloaded and click “ok”

Now select Hp Full Size paper type in the disc editing page and there you go!

Make sure to edit printers properties in order to print on Dvd.
