Sometimes it can be useful to convert an .ico file to Png, which can be edited with most of image editor applications.
There are 2 simple ways of doing it:
ConvertICO is very simple and effective, but it has a great disadvantage. In fact you can't batch convert your files, you have to convert them one by one.
That is why I advice to download AveIconifier 2.1, a freeware application (651 KB) that allows one to batch convert both .ico to .png and .png to .ico by just drag and dropping the files you want to convert in the "png box" or in the "ico box".

There you have just to upload your image and click "convert". In just a few seconds you will be able to download your converted Png file.
